Accepted symposium papers


Accepted symposium papers (plenary lectures, oral communications and poster presentations) will be considered for publication in a special issue of Phosphorus Sulfur and Silicon and the Related Elements.

Plenary and Invited lectures (max. 15 pages), oral communications (max. 4 pages) and poster graphical abstracts (1 page) will be published in a special issue of the journal “Phosphorus, Sulfur and Silicon and the Related Elements”, following the Symposium. Registered participants will have perpetual online access of the complete proceedings of the Symposium published by Taylor and Francis. Detailed Instructions for Authors will be posted on the website of the Symposium. Authors are encouraged to submit full papers as a follow up to the communication of results presented at the Symposium. Submissions can be uploaded as MS Word documents, together with a copyright transfer form and a graphical abstract through the journal’s website at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/gpss or can be sent via email to Guest Editor, Prof. Antonella Capperucci (antonella.capperucci@unifi.it) or Prof. Lucia Paquato (lpasquato@units.it) or Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Martin Rudd (pssi@uwc.edu).

Submission Information

All participants are invited to present posters and oral communications in any respect of the topics covered by the Symposium.

Lecturers and Interested authors of contributed papers  are requested to submit  an abstract

Peer Evaluation

The submitted abstracts will be evaluated by scientific committee.

Publication

*All accepted abstracts  will be published in the Book of Abstracts of the ISOCS-26  with an ISBN registration number which will be available at the symposium. Guidelines to prepare the abstracts is supplied in MS Word format in the symposium website. These abstracts  should be uploaded into the website for review. English is the official symposium language. At least one author must be registered and pay the registration fee in order for the papers to be  included in the symposium proceedings.

 Oral presentations

The presentations should be made in Microsoft Powerpoint. If you need a special equipment or software to make a presentation,please contact symposium secretariat   symposium@isocs-26.org

Poster Presentations

Poster dimensions should not exceed 80 cm (width) and 120cm (height)

Preparation of abstracts

The abstracts will be published as submitted. The authors will be responsible for accuracy and layout.

 

Here it is a list of settings that have to be used to prepare the abstracts

·         The abstract must be prepared with Microsoft Word (any version)

·         The abstract should be contained in ONE page (DIN A4size)

·         Both top and bottom margins should be set to 2,5 cm

·         Both left and right margins should be set to 2.2 cm.

·         The document should contain the following sections:

       Title: Times or Times New Roman, 14 , bold, centered, capital letters

 

o   Authors: Times or Times New Roman, 12, bold, centered. Author names should be separated by commas, and the presenting author name should be underlined.

 

o   Affiliation: Times or Times New Roman,12,italic,centered. It should include information about department,center,institution,address,e-mail address (website).

 

o   Body of the abstract: Times or Times New Roman,12,single spaced,justified.

 

·         Title and author sections must be separated by 2 empty lines

·         Affiliation section and the body of the abstract must be also separated by 2 empty lines

·         References must be located at the bottom of the page

·         Graphical material should be placed horizontally on the page, preferably centered.

 

Any graphical material must comply with these setting:

·         Line Length     :15 points

·         Line Width      : 0,8 points

·         Bold Width     : 3 points

·         Margin Width: 1.5 points

·         Hash Spacing : 2points

 

Abstracts  should be uploaded through a conference management system CMT for review and comments .
